About Dan

I graduated from Georgian College's Massage Therapy Barrie Campus program in 2010, and I am a member in good standing of both the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

I believe that massage therapy is most effective when you understand your treatment and how it can benefit you. To that end, every session begins with an assessment regarding how you feel and what you hope to achieve from your massage.

I believe that it is necessary for RMTs to be informed and get involved. To that end, I spent 6 years (2012-2018) concurrently being a member of the RMTAO Board of Directors, and the Georgian College Program Advisory Committee.

There are other RMTAO committees and projects that I am continuing to be a part of, so I am able to give back to the massage therapy community and help improve the profession.

I have practiced martial arts for many years, and it was this experience that led to my career in massage therapy. I have been fortunate enough to have spent 15 summers sharing this experience with kids from across the province through coaching at Olympia Sports Camp, an annual camp that aims to help improve sports skills while incorporating important life skills.

Since 2020 I have been operating a martial arts studio in Barrie, Iron Tree Dojo.
