About Dan

I graduated from Georgian College's Massage Therapy program in 2010, and am a member in good standing of both the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

I believe that massage therapy is most effective when you understand your treatment and how it can benefit you. To that end, every session begins with an assessment regarding how you feel and what you hope to achieve from your massage.

I am committed to helping improve the Profession of Massage Therapy, both provincially and locally. I am the elected Chair of the Georgian College Massage Therapy Advisory Board, a body which is mandated to assess and recommend improvements to Georgian's Massage Therapy Program. I am also a member of the Education Advisory Committee with the RMTAO, which reviews professional education course content across Ontario to ensure its quality and relevance to working Registered Massage Therapists, and I also sit on the RMTAO's Board of Directors.

I have practiced martial arts for many years, and it was this experience that led to my career in massage therapy. For over seven years, I have shared this experience with kids from across the province as a coach at Olympia Sports Camp, an annual camp that aims to help improve sports skills while incorporating important life skills.
